The three National Scenic Areas of Dumfries and Galloway represent some of the most important and diverse landscapes of the Scottish Solway Coast and River Valleys but even these beautiful areas have potential for improvement and the involvement of local people.

Projects include exploring the reuse of traditional farm buildings for living accommodation or farm diversification, working with local volunteers to assess the quality and potential for improving field boundaries and exploring ways to open views on key road corridors and tourist routes.
